de Médecine Familiale de Gatineau, Samuel a connu du succès à travailler auprès des personnes souffrant de dépression, d’anxiété, de défis relationnels, de difficultés de sommeil et des troubles alimentaires. Samuel Brunet is an intern at OCFI who is completing his doctorate in clinical psychology at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). Very early in hisuniversity career he developed a particular interest for Emotionally Focused Individual and Couple Therapies. His doctoral essay also focuses on the impacts of perceived security levels within the couple on the mental health of individuals who have experienced childhood abuse. His other research experience has made him familiar with the different challenges faced by parents who have just learned of the sexual abuse of one of their children. During his clinical internship at the UQO’s psychological services clinic and later at the Groupe de Médecine Familiale de Gatineau, Samuel worked successfully with people suffering from depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, sleep difficulties and eating disorders.
